The second issue of LYPHIO is the Art of Aging. For a long time, beauty and fashion have been closely associated with youth, while signs of age were something to hide or correct. But over the past few years, older faces have become increasingly visible in beauty campaigns, on screen and on the runway. This raises an interesting question: are we actually changing the way we look at aging, or simply making more room for it in the existing standards of beauty? In our second digest, we invite you to take a look at some recent stories exploring this topic — from the debate around ageism in Practical Magic 2 to the growing presence of mature models at last Fashion Weeks.
